Presumably yes, but I've heard loads of stories from printer buyers where PC World have refused to offer any kind of warranty on printers - to the point that people have been refused service the day after they bought the printer.
I don't mind so much, I only buy the All-In-Ones from them, and Epson do next day onsite service on them.0 -

Sorry but I have to disagree - I have bought lots of stuff over the past couple of years from PC World and a few items have had problems. In each case I returned them to the store ready for a stand up barny and they replaced them on the spot, no questions asked. In particular the staff in the Aylesbury shop were fantastic - in fact I was so impressed I went straight back to work and sent an email to their Head Office to congratulate the staff in that store for being so good! And believe me I VERY rarely would EVER do anything like that!P C World Currys Dixons

I've found that as long as you have the original receipt, and tell them exactly what the problem is, that they will happily exchange or refund or replace for you.
Now Dixons!! I wouldn't even shop in there, let alone contemplate taking anything back!
As for buying PC World items using the online reserve and collect system this is EXACTLY the same as buying it ordinarily - you just pay considerably less for the item! A few times I've turned up and they haven't even got my item ready so you just pick it off the shelf and take your reservation sheet to the till to pay! You have exactly the same rights to warranties/replacement etc.You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0 -
use http://www.quidco.com/content/blogsection/6/78/ for an extra 2.5% off
your online purchase.Registeration and login required. You may even be able to put in an evoucher code at checkout.I just use these shops to fiddle about with the item I want.
Sometimes I might find a bargain.Most times I find them a rip off though.0 -
Nice one!
I am typing this with my new Logitech MX3100 keyboard and mouse set. The store price is £89.99, the online price £65.29. Just took printout of order number, the girl on the till put my name into her screen and charged me the lower price!
Cheers!!!To win a competition gives you the spirit to carry on (Comping).0
