Tesco Savings Stamps

can anyone tell me how these work and can I get points?

they're £1 each and you get them from machines near the checkouts.
there are cards at the machine which you stick the stamps on to and you collect enough until the card is full.You can redeem the card for purchases any time, but if you leave it til december you get an extra £1. for each completed card.
if you buy 3 or 4 each time you are in T, you'd be surprised how quickly they mount up.
this is what I do and in december when cash is in demand, pay for all my T shopping with the stamps.
never could understand why people use the like of 'hamper' companies when stores do this type of saving scheme.
when you spend the stamps at the checkout you get your clubcard points then, not when you buy the stamps.
admittedly you'd probably be better off saving £10/15 a week in a savings acc to get the interest, but you can always find a couple of pound coins floating about in your bag!0 -

Buy all the stamps in November, the day before the £1 bonus. So get a very high effective "interest rate" on your stamps!!0
