What's The Most Unlikely Piece Of Junk........

There's a great number of us that are doing various challenges to make extra cash and obviously one is through Ebay.

We declutter and sell sell sell. But what if anything do you do with the junk you're left with. Do you try and sell it or just tip it ?

Just as a matter of interest. What is in your opinion perhaps the best or should I say the worst piece of junk that you've listed and sold on Ebay ?

I sell mostly clothes on ebay, those that are unsold I put in a bundle and try to sell as job lot or try car boot. If no success then give to charity.

Worst piece of junk.. We had an old floor standing lamp with a shade missing, partner wanted to throw it away but I thought I would stick it on ebay, and surprisingly it did sell. But even bigger surprise was that buyer was over 50 miles away from where we live lol. Didn't expect him to come, but he did lol. I suppose what it cost him in total (petrol+toll bridge charge+bid price) was close to what he could get it for new in a shop.
  • I once sold an ex-girlfriends' invoice for relationship counselling on ebay. Apparently she needed to talk to the shrink after I dumped her because she was cheating on me. And I was supposed to pay! I made about £5 from it - the onl good thing she ever did for me.

The best thing i have ever sold on ebay i would say was a fishtank. I was visiting a friend and her neighbour was throwing out this lovely fishtank, i asked if i could have it (it was bound for the skip) i explained i wanted to sell it on ebay and they said 'yeah take it'

    It made £80 within 24 hours :j
