Hello
Im very new here!
Ive been scouring old posts and FAQ's to try and find an answer to my question - but i don't seem to find it.... i promise im not lazy. I could spend hours on here... but having 2 year old triplets limits my time.
So can anyone advice me for free?
I will soon have a lump sum which i will need to save and won't need access to for a year. I will have over 150k to save but have no idea where to put it - obv im looking for highest rate but im not sure what else i need to be looking for.
Can anyone advise?
ThankU

Kaupthing Edge do a 12 month fixed term account at 6.86% APR, minimum balance £5000. I'm just considering this one for myself.

thansk beardiedog - yes i did notice a link to this bank - im just now reading all the related articles about trusting foreign banks and the level of protection involved. I'd be interested to see how you get on if you go for it.

I posted a similar thread earlier today greekgirl, but i'm a bit mindful of trusting any bank (in the current climate) with more than the £35k protected funds.
you might be able to get 6.86% on your money, but what if after 11 months the bank goes belly up. suddenly 6.86% on £35k wont seem that much after all...0 -
okay i will have a read of your previous thread!0
