Insuring 2nd Car

I'm in the process of buying a second car, I got a shock when I was told I'd have to start with zero NCB.
I've then been quoted a Zurich policy which "mirrors" my NCB by masterquote however I'd like to find cheaper, any ideas please?
if i had known then what i know now

    Try https://www.aplan.co.uk
Not open until tomorrow and the web site will give you phone number of nearest branch. They have 40 branches across south and midlands.

No offshore call centres. They employ many intelligent human beings !

Elephant also do this 'mirroring' of NCB, very handy!
if it's more than 10 stone, and that hairy, it's probably not a dog...it may be a wookie.

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Name Dropper Combo Breaker
Do both policies have to be with the same insurer/broker for NCB mirroring to be possible?
