sorry
someone else has just said that they received an email stating :
Quote:
LAUNCH DATE CHANGED TO SATURDAY, 19th APRIL 2008
As a previous applicant for a Sun UK Holiday, you may have received your priority application brochure for the forthcoming Holidays from £15 offer.
The in-paper launch date has been changed and the offer will now launch on Saturday, 19th April and not Saturday, 5th April. So keep your priority application brochure safe and start collecting your tokens or on-line code words from Saturday, 19th April.
Have a great UK Holiday in the Sun from £15!
Best wishes,
The Sun Holiday Team.0 -
Yeah, I got the e-mail this morning and was quite surprised. Got the priority order form this afternoon. Planning on getting something organised for our summer holiday with this - very pleased!
We were away last week for our spring break at Embo, (Very north of scotland) kids thought it was great - there was snow and the pipes in the caravan froze at night! great adventure. Roll on the new codes!! :beer:DD1 - May 02 8lbs 6oz
DD2 - June 05 10lbs 6oz
DD3 - 24th Jan 11 7lbs 9oz

I got the email on Thursday and the booking form on Friday. Was a nice suprise as didn't realise they were doing any more hols this year.
I remember you from the £9.50 thread Rachie B - hope you had a good hol, we had a great time in Pontins at Easter - was no where near as drab as I was expecting it to be and we didn't even have any snow
Am hoping to get a hol for Aug bank hols as well - GOOD LUCK0 -
Yeah we still had a good time - luckily we had loads of pyjamas and hot water bottles, we also bought an oil filled radiator from argos before we went because the forecast was for snow. (should have taken the sledge not bikes!!) :rotfl:
ToToTango - which Pontins did you go to? I was thinking about trying to go to 1 of them with the next tokens. My kids are 6 and 3 what did you think?DD1 - May 02 8lbs 6oz

Pontins Brean Sands - Everyone has always told me that the accom is really terrible (I did upgrade and was glad I did - chalet was very clean if a bit small). Entertainment wasn't up to much (compared to Butlins), but we like that part of the country as there are plenty of places to visit/great pubs/cafes for cheap meals and a beach just over the road from Pontins. Pool was OK - clean but not very warm.
There was a Capt Crocs adventureland which is a small indoor play area where they do some activities which would be good for your 3 yo and poss your 6 yo. They seem to do quite a few kids activities but because of the way Easter hols are this year the place was fairly quiet.
I would go again but as I say we used the place more as a base for visiting other places.0 -
Thanks for that, Brean sands was the one I was thinking of, not too sure now though!
We would probably just use it as a base too, we live in the far north of Scotland so would not want to just restrict ourselves to staying there all day every day, not after such a long trip down. Will definitely upgrade the accomodation though if we do go.
