I have recently set up a voip line on my cable line. Which uses a cable modem, wireless router and a voip phone adapter. I now find that I will have to leave these devices powered on at all times for the voip line to work.
So just wondering if this is safe to do so?

Safe in which context? Overheating? Power? Security?

Answer to all of those is pretty much yes in any case.

I was just wondering if it is normal practice to keep these components on at all times? My main concern is overheating because all of the three devices use separate transformers, in the past before I had voip I used to turn everything off.

If you're worried about it you could still switch them off overnight when you're not going to be phoning.
