Dear MSE users,
My mother needs a laptop for her new job.
She will be travelling a lot so it needs to be as light and compact as possible. (not a mac book air)
Will be conducting word processing, powerpoint presentations. General outlook bits and bobs etc. Needs a good wireless card for WIFI etc.
As i know n othing about Laptops i thought id ask people who do!
A good mixture of quality and value for money. Not a cheapo from PC world!

Well, it's kinda hard to say as the choice is pretty large and you havent listed alot of requirments. The default answer is usually Dell, but also Fujisu, Acer, Asus, HP - most of the models from these manufactueres will have all the features you have asked for so the choice will probably come down to price and weight, if thats the overarching goal.0
