Camp Coffee. Lovely. Heat up some milk and pour some Camp in. Has a different flavour to coffee but is very nice.
Also I like to do ordinary coffee with hot water, brown sugar and add evapourated milk. Again so comforting.Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

I can't stand the taste of coffee, but love the coffee and walnut cake that uses camp coffee. It's scrummy!Chipping away at the mortgage...2013:£419k @ 3.14%

I have a full bottle of Camp Coffee in my cupboard and I'd like to use it in some baking, does anyone have any tried and tested recipes? OH threw it into our trolley a few months back and convinced me that he'd use it, if only i had a pound for every time that happens :rolleyes:0

Camp Coffee.. that brings back memories..my mum bought some when I was a kid and I remember it being coffee and chicory. I cant remember what it tasted like though.. I wasn't aware it was still available until reading this
My parents made coffee from ground acorns if I rightly remember. I think it tasted horrible, but its free
Heres a recipe for it:
