At the top and usually on the right there is a *pipe* that you can get a flat head screwdriver in. Turn this with said screwdriver to let the air out. Once the water starts then turn back to close.

Some have keys but a screwdriver should do it :D

Mine have got nothing on the right hand side and just a square thing on the other:confused:

That's what you need. I have a hollow key with a square at the end.

Hold a bowl under it as you bleed it though, because if a bit of the water escapes too, it's black and minging!

You can buy radiator keys at DIY places or somewere like Wilkos if you haven't got one. They're not expensive.

Just spoke to OH and he says we have a radiator key somewhere? Told him to get his bum back home and sort it out! I did exagerate and said that I thought the boiler was going to blow up:rotfl:

Thanks Skint - I'm really scared and quite upset if I'm honest, but I'm sure that will pass once I'm used to it again! :o

I'm sure it'll work out fine but it will be daunting going back after all this time although you'll probably find you feel like you've never been away within a couple of weeks.;)
