ING 6.5% Fixed

I know ING are famous for offers restricted to certain members but I had an email offering 6.5% fixed for 6 months or 6.2% fixed for 12 months. It's on sums above £5000. It seems a reasonable offer, but is it too little too late from them?

I had the same e-mail. Thought about it for a second then deleted it.

I left ING last year but took them up on a 'special' that ran out in Jan. Absolutely fed up of their low rates and then occasional 'specials' when they're low on funds. If they aren't interested in being competitive on an on-going basis, I'm not interested in investing with them.

Same here; I keep getting emails, phone calls and letters offering me special rates to come back but last year they told me that their customers didn't want better rates and prefer one stable rate (yeah right!) so perhaps the £3.5Bn removed by those customers has taught them something? Lol.

FWIW I still have the princely sum of £7.00 with them.:D
