I'm confused by this whole horse race betting lark?, you simply send an email of your fav horse and thats it?If it wins how can you get paid, sorry for rambling on but I have no idea how this could work?
With a little bit of luck we can make it through the night!

Tony this is not a bookies bet it is a daily mail offer that one
entrant to email add given will be selected after 3pm today
and £100 bet placed in their name with a chance to win up
    to £30.000
  • Haven't bought The Mail today so don't know the full ins and outs.

However I can only guess what the "deal" is.....

I think some people are under the impression that each "individual" gets £100 bet on the horse of their choice. If it wins, they take the winnings. I think they are mistaken !

I think the system is that The Mail puts only 1 x £100 bet on each horse in the National.

All the people who "opt" for a horse get to go into a DRAW for the horse. Note this will only be ONE person who gets the £100 bet (the winner of the draw for that horse).

Correct me if I am wrong but it certainly isn't as generous as supposed !!!!

The Mail only has to put a few thousand pounds up as stakes, it gets far more that this back from premium telephone numbers and the email entry is just a way of complying with competition rules.

If it sounds too good to be true.....it usually is !

That makes sense, I understand now more like a raffle/chance to win bet than an outright bet. I feel silly now:o
