I used to work for a flat trainer ... still I think the most successful flat trainer in the UK ... I won't mention his name ... it still gives me a nasty twitch ... ... Anyhoo ... over the jumps ... over that distance ... you may as well stick a pin in any of the top 10 to 15 ... Pick a name you like ... and hope and pray as we all do that all the neddies come home safe this year ... Bless themLittleBill ... "The riches of a man can be measured by what he can do without"0 -
Thank you LB. To be honest that's why i've not bet on the national for years. I don't really agree with it because of the danger of the course. I had my own pony for 18 yrs until he died in 1995 bless his soul, and I won 100s of rosettes but would never put him over a course that looked in the least bit dangerous. I too will be praying that they all come through it safely.
I just thought a £100 free bet was a little too good to turn down! *blushes*I can be brown I can be blue I can be violet and sky. I can be hurtful I can be purple I can be anything you like..Gotta be green gotta be mean gotta be everything more...0 -

First post on newspaper thread, and I don't usually read the Express, so hope that helps. Martin has another thread about getting a free £25 bet for Saturdays Grand National via betfair (go thru' quidco) where there's lots of chatter on 'how to bet' for dummies like me! And if you google grand national theres a few sites on whats running plus tips. Good luck!0 -

Snap. I won't be betting.on the national."I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good, therefore, that I can do or any kindness I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it for I shall not pass this way again."
