hey there i was wanting to open a new bank account that i would be able to use whilst i am travelling in thailand, i'm also becoming a student in september and was wondering if there was an account that would be good for both

HSBC have branches everywhere, try them.

As you are not a student now you don't qualify for student terms although some banks will open a pre-student account for you later on in the year when the student marketing campaigns start.0
