Buy him a bag of plaster!!!!

Tell him you have an extra-special gift that he will get 'later' (ie - after he has gave you your gift) then produce a gift wrapped trowel! :D:D:D

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming ~ WOO HOO what a ride!

  • I got a meat slicer for my anniversary and was very chuffed with it. New gadget for the kitchen but not in the league of iron or hoover lol.

I bought Mrs Advent a soap holder for the bathroom. She was well chuffed.
I also took her to a concentration camp for her 40th birthday.

We don't buy anything for the anniversary of when we met, but we usually do something special for each other. :o

For wedding anniversaries it's a card and nothing else. Save your money for tiles and cable if you just moved home.
