ebay dispute over Final value fee credit

I tried to sell an item on ebay recently but had to go through the "non paying bidder" process because the buyer wanted to use a method of payment that I didn't accept.

Following this process the final value fees £10.50 were refunded to my ebay account but then oddly this refund was reversed.

I immediately complained about this and after a couple of dumb ebay emails I recieved this.
Thank you for taking the time to write to us with your concerns. My name
is Karim and I would be happy to assist you with your question.

First of all, I would like to apologize for the delay in responding to
your email. Your concerns are important to us and we appreciate your
patience and understanding.

Indeed, we are aware that some Final Value Fee (FVF) credits are
reversed and are working to correct the problem. Please rest assured
that your account will be reimbursed for all the reversed credits. We
are running a query that would identify all such reversal.

We appreciate your patience and understanding regarding this matter, and
thank you for being part of the eBay community.

I have a credit card on record so my ebay fees are billed automatically at the end of each month, so unfortunately two weeks later, ebay bill my credit card for these erroneous fees.

I wouldn't have minded this but I've been in correspondence with them over the last month desperatly trying to get them to understand that I was not liable for these fees in the first place.

After multiple requests to refund my credit card, stating that for each day that passes I'm being charged interest on thier error, they decide all they can do is refund my ebay account so that my ebay account is in credit.
Hello,

Thank you for writing to eBay's Customer Support. My name is Andrew and
I appreciate the chance to answer your question.

On reviewing your account status, I found that a final value fee which
was credited to you has been reversed back and charged to you again due
to some technical error. My colleague has forwarded your request for
credit to appropriate department and we assure you that it will be
resolved at the earliest.
Further, your final value fee credit will be credited to your sellers
account and not to your Credit Card.

I hope that this information is useful. If you have any further
questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

Kind regards,

MY issue is that they obtained this money fraudulently, and now I'm unable to access these funds other than to use them to pay ebay bills. There is no way for me to withdraw this money from my ebay account.

I have threatened them with some sort of further action if they refuse to give me back money that was obtained improperly and that's rightfully mine.

As ebay are refusing outright to refunds this money to my card even after multiple requests, what should I do to take this matter further?

Thank you

Sorry I think I may have resolved this issue by recourse to the credit card company.

Who have asked me to send them the evidence and they will refund my card accordingly. Haha ebay.

So patronising! I detest this kind of "fake customer service" talk. It's extremely prevalent in the USA, and we're getting more and more like them evey day ...

    Good on you.
