Can anyone help?
Just used energyhelpline.com to get a comparison for my lousy gas & elec provider (npower), and the first two names that came up, (quoting l could save £223 a year) were with ....... npower!!

You could try clicking the 'service rating' button, and if the same result, go to the next best. You need to check it manually anyway, according to kwh per year used.0

The reason for this is that npower to entice customers to join them ensure their tariff is one of the cheapest. Then they bring out new tariffs which are designed to entice even more mugs (sorry customers) whilst increasing the price of the original cheapest tariff(they do this at price increase/decrease times). To give you an example, I joined them 2 years ago on Sign online 4, they are now up to SoL10 and SoL4 has become almost identical to the standard tariff. I could save £163 by switching to SoL10.
The new tariffs were intended for new customers only, but there are recent threads on this forum where existing customers have been allowed to switch.
I have no intention of trying to save £163 by switching to Sol10 as I think npower are underhand in their dealings with customers (see thread on sculpting) and I will be leaving them I think for Atlantic.0 -

Hi,
If you are on nPower's Standard rates you can switch to their Sign Online rate and save money. Plus go through the links on this website and get cash back as well :T
