Business Current vs Personal Current

A query on business accounts.
I opened a business current account (for this small business) and I transferred some money from my personal account to this business current account. In my business current acount, I got charged for this transfer (£0.50).
Is this fair and the norm for business current accounts?

If this is anew business account do you not get free banking for 12/18 months.
If not I suggest you move your banking.
To answer your question yes it is the norm to charge business accounts either on turnover or number of items (debits and credits) going through the account.0
