Thought i was too late, but just managed to open an Egg ISA for 07/08.
Anyone that thought like me, it was too late........it isn't.
It's best to apply for a regular Egg savings account first so you become an Egg customer immediately (this will speed up the application process).
Then after your savings account has been confirmed, just apply for the ISA online.
I then transferred the £3,000 that i had waiting in my Sh-Abbey account ,using my debit card. The payment went in immediately.
EASY!:D

Yep I opened Egg ISA in September, I have found them very useful, except for starting up my account and they took a number of weeks to first contact me saying they need proof of address etc.
But then again, they are a bit lame with their rates, as soon as their savings account stopped being at least the base rate they dropped it by an extra 0.25%, god knows what will happen if IR continue to fall this year!0
