Can somebody help me with transferring money online? (Halifax)

Hopefully this is the most suited section for my topic.

I would just like to know if anybody could help me with sending a money transfer with Halifax to Alliance & Leicester as i'm unsure of what i'm to fill in on the following.

Organisation = Alliance & Leicester ? (I've tried to enter it in but it seems to be to large for the box)
Customer Reference = ? (Is this where i should enter the name for their account, such as Mr/Mrs ... )

Any help would be good as i'm not to sure about the above, also this is by a Debt Card if that makes much difference.

Just stick AandL down, they'll know who the receiving organisation is from the sort code/account number. The customer ref is what you want it to show up as at their end and something meaningful to you...
So in fact, you may want to show the payee it's from you, by putting your name down as the customer ref....
