in Credit cards
I've been looking around for a better deal on my CC.
I never pay off in full each month but do pay a lot more than the minimum to reduce it down as much as I can,but do spend on my CC from time to time so it would be a long term arrangment.
My current CC provider is Egg @ 16.9 APR and I have a 3.5k balance.
Seems like the best type of card suited to me would be a LOB card like
CitiBank's.
I have a good recent credit record, but was in a 'Payplan payment arrangement' with Virgin about 4 years ago when I got into difficulty, but luckily paid this off early and not missed a payment anywhere since.
Could anyone please offer any advice on which CC would be best to apply for in my circumstance..?
Many thanks as usual

What you need to do to keep your credit rating or improve upon it is to use credit cards seperately ie.one for spending on(purchases petrol & food ) and another card to move you £3.5K balance to(a balance transfer card)or(a Life of Balance card).
If you look for a BT card make sure the BT rate is for a long period say 12- 15 months and the rate is at 0% for that period.
LOB cards have a low interest rat about 6.8% and it stays at that rate until the debt is paid off.
For everyday spending or one off purchases choose another card perhaps Sainsburys card have a look around, what you should aim to do is spend on the card and at the end of the month/statement date pay it off in full, get into this habit and then the debts won't build up.
There isn't a card that does all of these things so if you can apply for seperate cards.Previously known as Bokken, registered at MSE in Nov 04,computer glich deleted my access but it is fun building up my stars from scratch,again.:D0
