    Morning peeps :)

;) As I was adding the items, I was sticking the various vouchers into the basket. Same for the Expert Dry Mouth, Facial spritz, Med soap & Bourjois sharpeners. .

    :D x

there's a notice in our Boots that you can't use the £2 vouchers against the Bourjois sharpeners :(

Sounds about right. The MBT trainers cost a bomb too. Think i will stick to my Crocs.

Has anyone used this Suncream for their kids nd is it any good.

Hi CPG I use the kids 50 factor for myself and I think its good. Myself & dd are very fair and both need to use a high factor as possible. It goes on good no mess do prefer the sprays etc, no stickyness etc. Lasts for ages.

    Morning peeps :)

Completely lost on this thread now lol, but I'm sure I read that someone was totally confused about their shopping list, and all the vouchers needed etc.

Because I'm one of the worlds worst at being organised, I took an hour out on Sunday before I went shopping, and sorted out all of the vouchers from the ACM and the magazine vouchers.

As I still don't trust stores to accept other stores ACM vouchers without some sort of argument lol, I sat and made 3 piles from the 3 shops that I collect them from ;) and wrote on a small notelet the shops names. Usually, and Jo_2k might back me up on this lol, I'm wandering around with a handful of vouchers and no idea where they're from or even what they're for! :o

The problem's compounded by the fact that I never take a shopping bag or handbag in - I attract too much attention from the security staff as it is :o lol.

This might be like teaching your Grandma how to suck eggs lol, but after I'd made the 3 piles, (and where applicable), I attached the various magazine vouchers to the ACM vouchers (easily identifiable from the printed numbers on the front) and wrote on the blank notelet what I intended to buy and whether there was a GWP involved, or an item to use the till spit with.

So I had, for instance, the magazine voucher for the Lip Glaze attached (c/o a paper clip ;)) to the £1 off Lip Gloss ACM voucher. Similar with the magazine & ACM vouchers for the Expert stuff and the free Med Soap. I'd put them in date order too, so I knew that I needed to get rid of the B1G1F on the photo frames & from which stores the vouchers were from. (I also made a memo to myself to check the ACM for points/money off :D).

Then I popped on to this thread to jog my memory about what was on offer, and added them to the lists - nothing complicated - just a reminder to look out for the reduced bags etc.

I was a woman on a mission and it was a doddle! I sailed around the 1st store in double quick time, had 2 lots of 17 lip glaze, lip gloss, and gwps in the basket before I knew it - 1 lot for me and other lot for OH, who hates being in the cosmetics section ;) As I was adding the items, I was sticking the various vouchers into the basket. Same for the Expert Dry Mouth, Facial spritz, Med soap & Bourjois sharpeners. *Check that you've spent enough to obtain the till spit, if wanted. There's nothing worse than missing a voucher for the sake of a packet of gum.

The 2nd shop was even easier, and so it went on. It took minutes, and freed up loads of time to look around for any 'goodies' lol. It was the easiest and quickest days Boots shopping ever! :D I should add that not all the ACM & magazine vouchers were combinable, but I figured that was the job of the till, or SA.

This may seem like common sense to most of you seasoned Bootsers, but hope it helps someone who might be as ditzy as myself :o lol. I know I'm not the only one that shops haphazardly ;)

Failing that, buy one of those photo things that most people have (me included now) and try it that way lol.

Off to get ready for the docs appointment now, but after that, I'll be filling in 3 more notelets :) then repeating the whole exercise when the new acm vouchers are issued later today (?) It should only take a few minutes.

P.S. This method is not recommended when the 75% sale's on :rotfl:

P.P.S. If you spot a good post as you're reading the thread, copy and paste it to notepad immediately, and repeat. Then print it out ;) If anyone doesn't know how to copy and paste, (as I didn't at one time), just ask. Someone's sure to help.

Hope some of the above made sense. Have a great day :D x

oooooohh get you missy clever cloggs;) Not like me then have my vouchers in an envelope which quickly becomes tatty. You'll recognise me or more my backside has this will be poking up the air whilst I run about scooping all my dropped vouchers from the floor.:D

When I am using a voucher and have goodies in basket I throw voucher in basket too.

Its so good to be me and organised:rotfl:

Just checked mine they have added this to spits at a later date.

I have 4 where it doesn't say this and 5 newer ones where it does say this. I must have used an older one yesterday has I did get sharpener and till didn't beep.

    Hi
quick Q, does the £2 cosmetics till spit work on R&M make up brushes?
Just I have about 3 of the blighters and daughter's birthday approaching, thought it would be great if she had some nice brushes to use. Thanks in advance!

I tried spit with a reduced make up brush but till beeped wasn't bothered just wanted to see if it worked so I could report back here:D
  • Have the 250pts for stay dry finished?

If so anyone know the cheapest way of making 1000 worth of points. I was saving for a bottle of perfume and have enough but for 10pounds more I can get double the size bottle so I think it is worth me waiting for the extra 1000 worth of points.

I know it doesn't really help but the spit I used definitely said NOT to be used on the sharpener.

I told the SA who said she'd been told they bleeped yet she tried it & it was OK though she did take some info from the spit & manually input but regardless it went through. She was suprised & I got her the last one to buy when she went on her break.

I said 'my friends ( YOU ) have have been getting it despite it saying no so can you just try it'
  • Just to say that I noticed that there is a new perfume offer. If you buy Kylie/kate Moss and, I think Britney, instore you get to choose a free body lotion or shower gel...online it looks like no choice just a free body lotion. I saw the signage getting ready to go up in my local last night.
