I went to boots on saturday and bought.........

    clinique shampoo X 2 £16.00
    clinique conditioner x1£8.00
    no7 foundation radience £13.25.
no7 concealor shade 1 £12.00 (free with foundation)
    no7 concealor shade 2 £12.00 (free with 3 for 2)
bourjois pink tweezers £2.95 (£2 off with till spit)

Also got clinique gwp box and 75ml tube of 7 day scrub and 75ml liquid soap.

    Total to pay £38.20

    Received £2 till spit

SA Did not seem too happy about giving me the clinique gifts on a spend of £24 she was pleasant but i could see it bugged her grrr She put them all in the bag and gave me the total so i asked her did she not need to scan the clinique gift or did she just put it in the bag, So she got me the little orange box. I said oh thats quite cute is the scrub and facial soap you get for buying 3 clinique items in there? :rotfl:Soshe got me my other items aswell.
She also tried to tell me the bourjois tweezers would not work becuse it was not make up and she hadn't even tried to scan it, so i just said i thought that ruby and millie colour cosmetics was just referring to the range as a generalisation and that my friend had got one (well plenty of you gals have and probably some guys aswell). So she put it through. I was a well happy bunny and she was shocked:eek: omg to see i had got so much for so little.

i could probably have split into 2 transactions for an extra spit but was in bit of hurry.

    Yeah smiley tastic:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T

well a quick dash to boots as had hair cut just opposite.Got pencil sharpener free with till spit but the rest of store v disappointing as usual (peterborough).Got the Ted Baker bags scanned and all still full price.no Berry bags to be found. No nail kits.Clearance section rubbish-- I find it hard to believe they have the nerve to sell half full hair gel for £1.50 and damaged items for almost full price.
The SA are not very willing to help either--I asked one to scan the TB bags and she said I'll do it when you pay ! i had to explain that I knew they were reduced but not sure how much-- she said the shelf will tell you that ! All in all not a very good visit- just got the sharpener and 2 for £2 on cotton wool.

If i want the 4 for 2 no 7 to work ie) foundation, concealer + 2 more items, does the 4th item have to cost less or more than the concealer for the till to deduct it as 3 4 2 IYSWIM?
Went to Boots yesterday and was gonna use my donated mailing vouchers, gwp 250 points, pc and total spend but got all confused with the 4th item price. Anybody know?
