Hi, newbie (but long time lurker) here - just want to say a massive THANKS to dotchas for sending me a voucher even though I wasn't a regular (or even at all lol) poster. I'm going to attempt to use the PC 1000 points on any camera and 1000 points on samsung cameras together - I bought this camera already (going to try and rebuy it) and it's lovely - but even lovlier with £20 of points! :D

Anyway, I'm a sheffield/newcastle bootser and, having read all this thread, can't see any mention of this anywhere but in the sheffield town centre boots they DON'T have a clearance section (haven't since jan anyway) but HAVE got loads of ted baker, hackett (didn't print out voucher before it disappeared off my card, boo ) and another mens' shaving company stuff all reduced on normal shelves. Also, it doesn't say anywhere, but the ted baker stuff is all half price and on 342. Got this for £3 for OH and a really nice (OH was impressed) washbag that you can hang in your bathroom for £7.50 (this was before I knew about the 342 )

Also, they have a new no 17 GWP in this store with a £5 spend. It's a (slightly tacky looking :o, sorry) silver polyeurathene purse with a glitter eyeshadow, nail varnish and another thing I can't remember. I'm inclined to think it's because they've run out of the eye palettes because the signs advertising it were all homemade. I didn't try the lipglaze etc. with it as I wasn't that keen, but if anyone's collecting them...

Also, right now they've got a few baby expert products on offer including this and this (well the SEL said they were reduced) plus some other stuff at £1.99. They go through with half price baby expert and 100 points any expert vouchers, so 100 points on 99p spend. Hope this helps anyone :)
;) One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you! ;)

For those of us who have £2 till spits to use but not able to find the item we desire...Borjouis tweezers are gold dust it seems, this is what I plan to do:

Buy an item which can be returned using the spit. Once the tweezers ( or desired item ) is back in stock return 1st item & get the desired one. It may mean adding more to the spit but this will be refunded on the exchange so no real loss.

I am not going to loose out on this spit! With the last spit £5 off skincare I had 9 left & no items instore to use them on, £45 of wasted worthless spits.

what kind of easily returnables on the cheapy side were you thinking hogshead?

I didn't mention buying make up per se, simply a returnable item.
  • i picked 1 up yesterday in the Arndale Manchester, wen i took it to the till the SA said "ohhh ain't they lovely where'd you find it" lol

Your making me jealous too! Asked in Kings Lynn store today and they looked at me as if I was mad! Said they didn't know what I was talking about and would probably only be available in larger stores

The third item is a 4ml black mascara. I got one about a month ago when the SA threw in one of these with my purchases when I had a mini argument with her about something (I was right) and she said "you might as well have this then..." I thought at the time it was an old GWP. The purse is a wristlet and I suspect that only the tweenies will like it.
  • My mum needed to get some new curtains for her bedroom so I offered to take her shopping - knowing that I could have a peek in boots while we were out!

    Todays shopping consisted of:

    TS Long Hair Shampoo
TS Long Hair conditioner - buy 2 for £7
    Picturemate cartridge & 135 photo paper - reduced to £12.49 from £29.99
2 x Lexmark High Quality Photo paper - reduced to £1.75 from £6.99
1 Berry Toiletry Holdall (Roll type) - reduced to £3 from £12
2 x small photo albums BOGOF but also reduced to £1.49 (coupon holders!)
Ruby Wax large holdall - £5 not sure original price but think it was £20
Small box mini Lindt easter bunnies - 28p (to keep 19mth old happy while I could look around)
    Sanctuary Nail Buffer - 38p
    Sanctuary Face Buffer - 36p
Sally Hansen Lip Gloss - £1.74 reduced from £6.99
No 7 Exotic Eye Shadow - £2.75 (not as good as 50p but still a bargain)
    Expert Dry Mouth Spray £2.49
    Expert Baby Wash £1.99
    Sunglasses £24.00

    Used following vouchers:

ACM extra 300 points WYS £35.00
ACM 200 points on photo albums
ACM 150 points on dry mouth spray
    Triple points on baby wash
    Half price sunglasses voucher
2 x expert 100 extra points from mag
    PC free TS conditioner
    ACM 100 points on TS
    PC half price baby expert

Thank you Mr Boots you paid me 51 points to take away your photo albums and 1 point to take away baby wash. Dry mouth spray was effectively free as I gained 250 points for an item that cost £2.49!

Also bit of a glitch on shampoo/conditioner. On offer 2 4 £7. Receipt shows minus £4.49 from PC voucher and a further £1.98 for offer so actually paid 53p.

SA was marking lots of stuff up for clearance shelves. She said she had loads to put out - odds and ends - no SHOOZ bags though which is what I really wanted. Told me to go back later in day but TBH I spent too much so didn't bother. Don't get paid till next week :T
