I know it's a bit offtopic, but I know that all of you (including me
) love premium cosmetics and love bargains. I've got a voucher for FREE 50ml L'occitane Purifying Rice Toner when you spend £20 at their stores. If someone interested, pm me

Just got back from my first ever bootsing trip and am well chuffed - got everything i wanted (i may not have got the biggest bargains on every possibility, but was determined only to get the things i wanted!)... thanks for all the posts - would never have thought to try some of these!
First run through:
no. 7 foundation (13.25)
no. 7 concealer (0.00)
no. 7 day cream (13.25)
total to pay : £14.50
Second run through
17 eyeliner (couldn't find any of the reduced ones and needed one anyway) £2.29
17 lip glaze (free with voucher)
17 spring pallet (free)
no.7 pink GWP (in bristol cribbs - thanks for the heads up) - £1
total to pay £3.29
When i was paying for the second lot, the woman commented that yesterday someone had bought 7 of the pink no.7 boxes - anyone here by any chance?
They've got those locally - but £5 including vouchers.
Good shopping list btw, well done :TOh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. ~ Sir Walter Scott0 -
If you've bought something from Boots & want to take it back for a refund, do you have to take it back to the same store, or can it be any branch ~ thank you X

Now Boots related one:
If you have some old Parenting club vouchers, try to combine them with new ones,
e.g. I bought Pregnacare (4.99 for 30 tablets and 3 for 2) and used two different coupons from previous and new parenting club mailing, so 200+200 = 400pts back
Also works on Boots Baby organics baby meal (sorry can't remember the exact name of product, bad mum! But it's for 4x100ml fruit pots) - it costs 1.49 normally. There was voucher from previous mailing to try it for 50p, and new mailing coupon for half price, so till counts: £1.49 - £0.99 ('try for 50p) - £0.75 (half price) = £-0.25 so they actually pay for you to take it!
Didn't read this thread for a while, so maybe already posted, but I assume it should work with Pantene as well - there're two different vouchers for 200pts (as mentioned in 1st post of this thread) + voucher 'save £2 on Pantene' - could someone confirm it works together?
Also didn'y try other coupons, but I'm pretty sure it should work for baby rice (I think previous and new mailing offers the same coupons for 'half price', but with different barcodes, so should work as well), Hipp baby food etc. If someone already tried - share with us , if not - I may be the first to take advantage of this :rolleyes:0 -

aMeLia'S~MuMMY is correct. The 'Standard' £4.97 Olay Total Effects Hand Treatment is not included on 3 for 2.
Also the 'Free wipes with any Olay Total Effects' voucher does not work automatically with this 'Standard' handcream either, unless occasionaly a SA over rides the till etc.
The only thing the 'Standard' ever works with, without bleeps and hassle is the £5 off voucher
So as the next cheapest item in 'Total Effects range' is fragrance free HT, by miles, so you could do this, presuming you want the cleansing milk free with pc voucher....I THINK it would work like this....
ROC Wipes £5.99
Olay Daily Facials Milk £ 4.49
Olay 'Fragrance Free' Total Effects Hand Treatment £6.49
Total Minus 3 for 2(milk), £5 ROC Voucher & free pc olay voucher
£2.99 to pay
EDIT:Repeating aMeLia'S~MuMMY about FF HT sorry0 -
Nettienoo ~ did you manage to get to Bromborough before work? Just to let you know they did have med soaps but could not see expert tins, never seen these anywhere!! perhaps I'm not looking hard enough.
I also find the expert range really baffling as they are dotted around the store IMO it would be better to put the whole range together I think it would make it easier to find what you are looking for. (rant over ..)

Hi fellow bootsers!! I had a fantastic bootsing shop today!! Here goes:
Shop 1:
Sally hanson shine clear nail stuff x 2 @ 75p each (but Buy 1 get 1 1/2 price!!)
RM Cheek brush £1.44
Pretty polly magic shorts tights 88p
boots tights (3 pack) neutral 75p
boots tights (3 pack) black 75p
Boots aquasoft cosmetic sponge 38p
Ms make up angled eyeshadow brush 55p
Total : £5.87 (spent my points) :j
Shop 2:
S&G Mobile Foam set £7.50
Shop 3:
ROC Day & night cream set £34.99
ROC GWP free
Total to pay = £29.99
Used: £5off ROC voucher, 75pts WYS £10 ACM voucher, 150pts WYS £20 mailing voucher and double points voucher. :T
Shop 4:
Sanex small deo sprays £1.10 each but BOGOF
Benefit On the Go £9.75
(Unusual as this was a small store which doesn't stock benefit!)
Other items I saw reduced:
lots of hummingbird eyeshadows £2.75
lip gleam £3.50
no7 tanning wipes 50p
sally hansen lip brightening
Saw some of the "reduced" make up bags (as per 1st post) however all scanned at full price :S o well! No bourjois tweezers or nail varnish to be found. Quick question please, is the bourjois nail varnish remover kept on the bourjois stand or with other nail varnish remover? TIA
Would also just like to say a HUGE THANKS to all the OPs about the reduced goods being in their normal places around the stores (smaller writing SELs...really helped today!):beer:0 -
spent £2.xx on No7 radiance concealer, No7 radiance foundation and No7 line corrector and Now magazine (to sort of disguise my cheap purchase) (NO7 on 3 for 2 and when you buy the No7 radiance foundation you get the No7 radiance concealer for free, but my mum had given me a free NO7 line corrector from her Boots mailing (I didn’t have that voucher). Also got another £2 cosmestic till voucher and something like 56 points back. Wish I had used my double points and bonus points voucher.
Managed to get 1 free Bourjois pencil sharpener thoughTesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)
Boots points: £0.28
Pigsback points: 715 (4 xBoots£10 & 1 xPizzaHut£10, 2 x £10 clothing vouchers)
Mutual points: 3417 (redeemed 8250)
Rpoints:redeemed 28925 points)Cashbag:£8.91(£20)0 -
