If you've bought something from Boots & want to take it back for a refund, do you have to take it back to the same store, or can it be any branch ~ thank you X

Does anyone know if this would work?

    No7 hand savior = £10.25
    No7 line lift = £12
    No7 hand savior = free (3 for 2)
    Total = £22.50

    Voucher for £5 off N07 (£20 spend) = £17.50
Voucher for free line lift = Total to pay is £5.50

    Just caught up :)
Some great shopping lists there ladies :T Bought virtually the same as has been mentioned - nail sets, hair things etc. Couldn't get my head around the No7 glitch, so left it well alone lol, and no mailings ever, apart from the Health thing  so not many combinations to work out either ;)

I really missed my advantage card though :(

Used up 8x 250 points with added 100 points from magazine, and they all went to OH

I suppose it's ok though, as he was paying :rotfl:

Thanks but no she got it this morning so likely she paid less for it. Some friend hey. Will watch ebay see how much they are on there xx

i bought a TB small clutch this morning, from Oracle in Reading. I just assumed it was 1.88,as it was on the clearance shelf, but no clearance sticker. paid for all my shopping, which amounted to some 14 pounds, got out of the shop and came back home, only to realised that i have been charged 7.50 for it.

so even though she bought it this morning, it may not have been reduced yet?
  • the other weird this is that the other boots, which is ust down the road from Oracle boots, have empty shelves of TB bags, with SEL of 1.88 on it. dont know why its reduced in that store, but not the one in Oracle....

I forgot to say, when I was in Westfield Derby, I got a bargain.

I found the Ruby Wax shooz bags at £3, bought the last two on the shelf.
Thank you for whoever it was that first mentioned them....was it you Passion8?
They had one that said something about 'face'? too, that was really nice, I had it price checked as it said £10 on the shelf, but it unfortunately came up as £10 on the till as well.
    Oh well!!

Doubt I was the first Dollardog ;) but loved those bags from first seeing them. Just need the make-up one (thought I'd bought it - could be buried under the Boots mountain ;)) and then I've all I need :D (Despite what my local SA's think!)

I think it's the pop-art that appeals to me lol.

  • last thing that got me a bit annoyed:

I saw some botanics wash bags in the "plastic crate" thingy. but there was at least 5 SAs surrounding that crate and they distributed the bags among themselves and told a colleague to keep it 'round the back'. i stood there, watching them distribute thebagsamong themselves....and i saw 2other shopperwho shook their head in disbelief. One girl even asked if she can have one of the bags from the crate, but SA said no...there is no more available.

Thank you :D ....... I shall just have to use the "oh, I must have picked up the wrong item" excuse if it doesn't work ;)
Or before you get all your purchases just go to the till and ask if part of 3 4 2, you'll know before you plan your shop and that way you won't panic buy when it doesn't go through at the till as planned. I hate it when it doesn't go to plan I gut all flustered then! According to .com this
Olay Total Effects Hand Treatment - Fragrance Free (£6.47 though) is on the 3 4 2.
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.
