Life Assurance for Diabetic.

With my family having increased by one recently I am reviewing my insurance and assurance policies... Are there any recommendations for life assurance companies who's rates aren't too outrageous for a well-controlled (HbA1c 5.2%, total chol 4.2) *supposedly* type-1 35 year old male diabetic?

Best thing to do is go to an IFA or an independent protection advisor and give them the details and they can ring the providers underwriting departments and ask them how they would price it.
Doing it yourself is going to be time consuming and you will almost certainly not get the best price as many of the top priced providers are only there on standard health terms. The minute you dont have a clean application, they sky rocket in price. All the online quote portals assume class 1 occupation and clean health.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
