    Afternoon folks.

    Today I....
    • checked online banking
    • done piggy comps
    • relisted 4 things on ebay - will do the rest tonight. OH has some old golfclubs that he has given me to put on
    • sat in this afternoon rather than go to shops
    • booked car in for MOT for next week(did this yesterday but forgot to add it)
    • put washing on at 30
    • checked Quidco - still no Co-op money
    • checked freecycle for items of interest - nowt
    • sold a book on amazon*
    • phoned plasterer to come round to give me a quote on the bedroom. I was going to paper but thats working out at over £100. I'd rather plaster for that and it means less effort later on
That is all I can think of at the moment but i may do some more later on

    * I sold a book last week to someone in southern Ireland which was fine but it was rather heavy and i ended up out of pocket after posting it.
Amazon fees are ludicrous (sp..?). It looks like they are being generous with payment fees when really they are taking most of the money from you in fees. How can people afford to sell for 1p etc?

First rule of amazon - no heavy books unless you are selling for a really good price;)
People can sell for 1p and still make a profit as they are selling light paperback books so benefit from the postage allowance amazon includes in sale. Some of smaller books can cost as little as 42p to post so lots of 1p book sales might be smaller individual profit but combined all add up.
I made same mistake when I first started selling my books on amazon and ended up £6 out of pocket on a heavy coffee table type book:mad: lesson learnt:o
