How to enter
Email a maximum of three pictures you’ve been inspired to take of these fantastic regions to
photography@independent.co.uk
Subject: East of England Photography Competition
stating your name, address, daytime phone number and whether you are happy for us to pass your details on to third parties. Please write, in no more than 20 words, a brief description of your photographs and where in East of England they were taken. The competition ends midnight 18 April 2008.
The winner will receive:
1. A two-night weekend break for two (based on two people sharing a room) at the Waltham Abbey Marriott Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis. Bordering the ancient woodlands of Epping Forest, the hotel comprises stylish guest rooms that blend classic comfort with modern flair. Recreation is only as far as the leisure club, with a large indoor pool, fitness centre and sauna.
2. A printed canvas of their photograph to keep
3. The new Kodak EasyShare Z1285 Zoom digital camera. A high performance, 12-megapixel camera with 5X optical zoom and image stabilization. The Z1285 allows you to get more creative with your photography by taking advantage of the camera's manual features or easily capture pictures and videos with automatic controls. The Z1285 also captures HD still pictures and videos, enhancing the overall picture-sharing experience.
Two runners-up will each receive:

Six finalists will receive:
