  • does any one have the leaflet detailing the T&C's - my local store hadnt heard of the leaflets.

I want to know if i really can take 2 cars to get the maximum benefit

I think safeways used to say only 1 car and no drums/cannisters when they did their similar offer

I presume i would have to fill both cars from the same pump

I dont want to get to the till and get reprimanded/fully charged

So long as you do not have more than 100 litres in total, you can take 2 cars. You can use 2 different pumps if you want to, but you need to make it clear to the cashier you want to pay for both pumps at the same time, since the coupon is only valid for one transaction.

You can use a fuel container if you want to, but (for obvious reasons) only if it is designed for transporting fuel. Also, by law you are limited to how much fuel you can carry in containers (unless you have a license) - I think its 25 litres but not 100% certain without checking.

One note of caution. The pumps have a three minute Time out period ( At least the one's in Thurrock ) . If for any reason you take longer than three minutes to pump petrol they automatically switch off.

What do the coupons look like - are they the yellow A5 size ones? There are loads of what I thought were just promotional leaflets just sitting next to the till at my local Tesco metro (with no petrol station!).

When you get your printed receipt if you have spent over £50 it will print out a voucher attached to the top that you can rip off and hand over at the petrol station.

north london petrol price 5p 0ff a litre with £50 spend

lea valley 91.9p with voucher 86.9
ponders end 88.9 with voucher 83.6
  • Does anyone know how long the Tescos promotion is on for ?

Notices in my Sainsburys say that their petrol promotion ends today 31st Aug.

All of the 5p off vouchers that I have had over the past few weeks state that the date of expiry is September 3rd 2005.
