I saved on Prices at West Midlands Safari Park

I read on this forum, or it might have been the e-mail from Martin (can't remember now) about saving the coupons from the Kellogg's Cereals to get in cheaply at the Zoo. One paying adult, child goes in FREE.
So, therefore, we went to West Midlands Safari Park on Monday, myself, DH, and our 2 young girls.
Cost as follows:-
£13.00, and it should have cost £42. (Adult is £10.50, and Child is £10.50).
I took 2 coupons from 2 Cereal Boxes (we eat a lot of cereals in our house), and I also took my DLA Letter, and Carer's Allowance Letter (our eldest is autistic).
My husband paid £10.50, I paid £2.50 (Carer), and kids got in free.
We also took a packed lunch, and a flask of coffee with us. Lucky really as the cafes and restaurants were rather expensive. All in all, a great day out, our girls didn't want to go home at the end of the day. The animals came right up to our car, lol. I didn't like the goats biting my bum tho, lol. I kept shouting at them to get off me, think they took a bit of a shine to me, lol.

My friend told me that she takes her DLA letter with her when she goes on day trips, so I did the same. It's lucky my friends give me this info, because none of the professionals do.0 -

Lots of places allow reduced or free charges for carers. I had a blind friend once and one of us would always travel free on the train as her carer.I want to be credit card and loan free by Christmas 20100
