Council Tax Benefit Information Needed

Apologies all round. New to posting, but not to Site.Does anybody here have sufficient knowledge to offer advice on whether I am eligable for Council Tax Benefit?

OK then ,here goes (sorry for delay in replying) I am single, living alone in my own property which I own without any mortgage, I am 60 years old,I am retired with an Occupational Pension from my Ex Employer of £169-36 after Tax,this is my total income.My property is in Wales and in Band C with a Council Tax Bill of £994-71,I get a 25% reduction for single occupancy making my Bill £746-03 payable. My total savings are £1700-00. I claim no Benefits whatsoever, is there any further information needed?

I have used entitledto.co.uk and it says you should get £4.20 per week Council Tax Benefit.

I assume that your private pension is a weekly amount, if it is not then you need to claim Pension Credit

Thanks very much for that Eager _Elephant. I had been led to believe it might be more than that.
