Car Insurance, Student status or not?

My daughter left Uni in june and her car insurance is due for renewal soon. Should she tell them shes no longer a student or just leave it. We were just worried that by taking off the student status on her policy it might make the premium go up even more as its already increased by over £20 per month because of an accident, it was already high as shes under 25 and her first year driving so shes struggling. Would it make that much difference or not?
Thanx

You HAVE to disclose all material facts to the insurers. This includes the fact she is no longer a student. You may even find the premium goes down because she may be considered lower risk. If you do not disclose this and she has another accident and it comes to light, they may refuse to cover her. It is simply not worth taking that chance to save some money now. Lying by omission is still lying and it will be in the T&Cs that you have to notify changes.
I had an accident that was not my fault a few weeks ago and when I reported it I was specifically asked about any changes to my status.0
