London - Tube/Bus Oyster card q?

Hi
Really dull question alert!
I'm off to London tomorrow (going on my own, only been twice before) and need to get from Paddington to Marble Arch. Just been looking at TFL website and it says I'll need to get a bus not a tube. Can I use my Oyster card on bus as well as tube or do I have to pay separately for the bus? If so do you need exact change?
Thanks in advance!

Oyster card works on both.
If you're just getting the bus, and it's just one day, a pay as you go will do.0 -
Paddington to Marble Arch? I'd walk..
Leave paddington tube, head up Praed street in the direction of Burger King/Subway/McDonalds and walk all the way up until you hit edgeware road (you'll see Marks and Spencers). Turn right, and walk up edgeware road. You'll know you're in the right direction as you pass another McDonalds, Woolworths, Boots and Argos. Carry on walking and you'll eventually get to Marble arch
I think it's about a 25 minute walk. It's a safe enough area, very busy and bustling.
edit: if you must, take the bus. it'll cost 90p on your oystercard or 2 pounds in cash0 -
Thanks guys!

If you do want the bus its a No 18 you'll be wanting , you can catch it on Marks & Spencer side of the Edgware Rd... its a straight road not far.. have a great time#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j
