Budgeting with different pay days?

Best way to budget if we're paid a week apart?

The wife 20th
Me 26th

Until now we've both been paid within a day of eachother, so no problem, but now?

Personally - I'd use savings to cover the deficit in the first month - and then consider that your wife's earnings don't arrive until the 26th (despite the fact they will) and start budgetting from there.

Makes life much more simple. The result is you don't spend the money that your wife earns until the 26th.
