Trying to remove Norton after 30 day trial

I get Norton through BT as part of my package, but alsoget the trial period of Norton on my new desktop, which has just expired. I go into add and remove programs to remove it, but no Norton? Just Symantec live update, which it won't allow me to remove! BT software update won't run until Nortons removed, but where is it arrgggh.
Any ideas.....please!
