Buying Cigarettes In America

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me - I am going to America next week (Florida) and wondered whether cigarettes are cheap over there and if so can you get hold of Benson and Hedges?
Does anyone know the best shops to get them from. I am staying in Orlando. Is there a limit on how many you can bring back?

Yes you can get Benson and Hedges.....Regal....Mayfair...etc
They were dirt cheap as was the alcohol......
We went to the ABC liquor store which was really cheap and sometimes 24 hour gas station had the cheapest cigarettes.
Think the price for a carton of 200 was $23.0 -
PVSOL,
I agree with Iceliquid except for one important fact that he may not be aware of:
B&H are made by Gallaher in the UK THEY ARE NOT IN USA.
You can bring back 200 cigs./person duty free. The duty free shop in both Orlando airports has a good selection of cigs at the aforementioned price but the B&H are still not Gallaher B&H.ANGER is one letter away from DANGER0 -

Depends where you look. When I was flying back from Sanford in Florida, the duty free was chock full of cigs covered in the UK black and white health warnings. Obviously stuff already intended for the UK market sold outside of the UK, to be brought back to the UK by people living in the UK:rotfl:
:idea:I got an idea, an idea so smart my head would explode if I even began to know what I was talking about:idea:0 -
trace-j,
The black and white health warnings does not mean the B&H were made by Gallaher. Believe me B&H bought in the USA (including duty free shops) are not made by Gallaher.ANGER is one letter away from DANGER0 -
And no matter where I buy them , my allowance is only 200?0

Philip Morris are the producers of B&H in the USA:

Yes strictly speaking the limit you can bring back to the UK is 200/person whether duty free or duty paid. Do observe however the quantities your fellow passengers buy when in the duty free shop and the number of brands that are packaged in units of 600-1000 cigs.ANGER is one letter away from DANGER0

And if HM Customs & Excise find you've more than 200 .... they'll be very cross
... and ... take the excess off you _pale_
Unless it's industrial quantities and you'll be up before the beak :eek:0 -

I bought back Senior Sevice, they are in the same gold packaging as B&H and were fine. Best to buy a packet 1st to make sure you like them.As iceliquid said petrol stations had a lot of promotions on cigarettes, 5 packs for the price of 2 was the best I found but these were generally Marlboro or Luckies. As stated 200 per person is the legal limit.0
