Gloss?

I dropped a tin of gloss all over my wooden flooring , does anyone know how best to remove it , as i was trying to clean it up , i left a trail everywhere as i was treading in it all :mad: lol

My own fault i was painting when i was over tired and couldnt think straight :/

I got most of it up but im finding it really hard to remove all the patches everywhere , i dropped of on couch and just woken up feeling so sick and my head is killing me :/ now i got to clean up all the mess then get painting again :(

    Oh dear! Not sure how to remove it, I'm sure someone will be around to advise in a few hours. What about claiming on your insurance? X

    Nah dont want to push my insurance up for next year , plus it was my own fault ....i would only claim on insurance if it was something major.

    If the floor's wood then I suppose you can only scrape/sand the paint offf and re-varnish the floor?
    As regards your insurance, personally my floor would be a major issue to me, our insurance has cover for accidental damage too.

    Im going to try some methods if they dont work then i may have to , not sure if im covered for things like this as i was only bothered about fire ,flood or being robbed.

    Maybe i should of done as people tell me im quite clumzey at times , lol....ive dropped bottles of coke , ive opened a bottle of fizzy pop and its gone everywhere and ive dropped a bottle of red wine all over the place , think im cursed lol

    Try Nitromors, it's paint stripper.

    Be careful it's strong stuff!

    Nitromors is soon to be discontinued due to high VOC's.

    Anyway, wait until its dry then get yourself a scraper preferably on that uses a Stanley knife blade, you should be able to get nearly all of it off.

    Pure wood? Nitromors paint remover, like used on wooden doors. If it laminate I have no idea
    GOOGLE it before you ask, you'll often save yourself a lot of time. ;)
