Dont know if this is in the right place but...
Received email from dept-claimsandyjohnson@live.com saying I had one million pounds ( I know it sounds wrong!!) through Microsoft. They already have my email addresse (other) and only want name , age, occupation and addresse. What do you think, have I anything to lose?
Anybody heard or received anything like this?

Chris

Hi with reference to this received another email saying my winnings (yeah) would be delivered byDiamond int Couriers, which i googled and got sent to microsoft complaints , as this is a big fraud they want 480 pounds to deliver the cheque. Am tempted to tell them Ill come and pick it up. Grrr I could have done with a mil

I think Josie was saying dont bump the threads within the ending threads list, if you know what i mean!!

The ending comps list doesnt get bumped as its a sticky but if people write something on one of those individual comps inside the list then it comes to the top of the main board ! ;) xx
Do good and good will come to you.

Not sure where to post this, but though I should let you guys know. I just found out that when you register with Student Zone to enter comps, they automatically create a profile for you in their 'Community' section with your full name on display and possibly your contact details as well!!!
the profile comes up in google search results if you search for your name!
luckily my email and postal address weren't listed, but if you log in to update your details, the option to display your email address and contact details are already checked!

Hi all,

Just found a comp not posted in the forum (can't belive it myself) and want to post it.
Now I wonder: What does "E: " in the tread title for every comp mean? confused-smiley-013.gif Entry date?

Thanks for the help.
