hey, new to this site and was hopeing someone would be able to help me, over two months ago I won £200 in a national newspaper competition, as you can imagine I was thrilled, and was told my cheque would be posted to me in the next 28 days, but nothing so emailed the person saying had not recieved it, and after contacting someone else at the paper to see why they hadnt replied, they said it would be with me within a week. Again nothing, have sent several emails to the main guy directly with no reply and have asked to have my emails forwarded to higher up. Have since sent a letter to the company CEO but have had no response.
Have looked at The Office of Fair Trading website but they dont deal with individual cases and Consumers Direct dont deal with competition cases.
If anyone has any ideas on what I can do next I would really appreciate it, just to stop them ignoring me which is the most frustrating aspect about this.0 -

Sorry if this is the wrong thread... In the most recent edition of Village Life magazine (from Center Parcs) there was a photography competition but I recycled my copy before entering
Has anyone else got the details, there was an email address for entries and the theme was "sunshine"?0 -
I have just been called regarding a comp I dont honestly remember entering. They asked for me by name and I said that I wasnt home [explanation of this below]. I was just wondering what do you think the chances are I have won first prize? Or 2nd prize which will be a test drive for the new car that was first prize [I dont drive]
Bit excited really - trying not to get my hopes up.
I am saying I am not at home at the moment when I answer the phone because my University keep calling me asking me to contribute to their hardship fund for current students. This wouldnt be so bad but they get the students to call up which I find really distasteful - especially since when I was a student I just missed the cut for help and I had to take on a job for 24hrs a week.Unsecured Debt [STRIKE]11,000 ish [/STRIKE]Feb 08 ok honestly more or less 12,000 and no more Credit available
Dec 09 4,100ish -waiting for the credit card bill,
I look forward to getting the bill through the post now.0 -
