tiscali for a good few years, and other than a minor niggle when we moved (180 miles, so maybe to be expected !!) been plain sailing. If we hadn't have moved, I'd have gone onto the all-in package inc line rental for £20 a month, but they did our old area a month before we moved from there.
My parents have been on the TT package, patchy internet service more or les from the off..they're looking to move off as soon as their 18 mths min. period is up.........Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple

I have been with Tiscali for a long time (before broadband reached us in the sticks) I currently get all local and national calls free as part of a package. Can't get free line rental yet but got a few quid off package price to compensate until they bundle our local exchange. I see now I could phone quite a few overseas locations, including Australia, for free, for up to an hour at a time.
I have wireless broadband with up to four devices connected at once.
I mostly seem to get Geordie operatives on the rare occasions when I call the help line (usually to check I still have the best deal). Either that or the Indians are being trained in various local English accents.
You do need to keep your eye on their website for recent packages. They don't tell you when you could get a more recent and cheaper deal.0 -

So on the £14.99 monthly bundle your actually be paying
£14.99p + £2.50p( connection charge averaged out other year) + 0.98p for voicemail /caller display = £18.47p
Add to that the expensive peak/evening call charges from 1/5/2008 ,dear 0845/0870 charges, expensive and rage inducing customer service calls, and the fact that you cant use indirect access services like 1899/18185. Nor can you use the BT override facility 1280 facility to place calls via BT when cheaper, or in an emergency.
What voicemail charges? The BT 1571 equivalent? We have an answer machine so don't get this charge from tiscali.0 -

Like any other phone company if you dont choose to have a chargeable calling feature Tiscali dont charge for its use.
Their unlimited 24/7 call package is now well overpriced at £7.99p compared to other suppliers.
They dont offer a inclusive evening and weekend call package unlike other suppliers who have increased their evening rates. So your left with the dearer calls or a dear package to switch to.
Tiscali Talk (Non Broadband) Customers would clearly be better off moving to another supplier.0
