LLOYDS TSB Overdraft interest

Hello, what a fantastic site. This is my first time posting. I have not had any luck scanning the threads for my question so here goes. All the claiming back of charges from banks has got me thinking. Can I claim back overdraft interest charges? I have an overdraft of £200 but I have never gone over this amount. They charge me on average £1.50 overdraft interest per month. Can I claim these back? I have had my overdraft for many years. Thanks everyone.

No you cannot.
If you borrow money it is perfectly legal for anyone to charge you interest.
I could say that if you looked after your finances better then perhaps you could avoid this fee?0 -
An overdraft is like the mini-bar in a hotel room. They supply it, you can use it, or not, whatever you prefer. If you drink the stuff, you pay for it.
Same with an overdraft, the bank supplies a pot of money. If you use it, it will cost you (unless it is 'interest free').0 -
Thanks guys, that saves me a job then.0
