Halifax standing orders

Does anyone have any recent experience of standing orders from a Halifax current account to a Halifax Regular Saver? I was wondering when transactions appear on each account, especially at weekends. Looking at old posts it seems Halifax did date transactions at weekends, but changes may have occurred due to the transfer to Bank of Scotland, and the new faster payments system where instant (interbank) standing orders happen only on working days.
The rules of the Reg Saver require the standing order to be received by the 28th - is it possible for a Halifax standing order for this date to arrive late due to a weekend/Bank Holiday?

No. They are instant transfers and Halifax run their systems 7 days - so internal SOs will happen on the date specified.but changes may have occurred due to the transfer to Bank of Scotland, and the new faster payments system where instant (interbank) standing orders happen only on working days
.... faster payments doesn't happen until 27th May 2008! And the 'instant' variety of that (as opposed to filed SOs and diarised payments) .... will happen 7 days per week?If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0
