Would I be right in thinking that first payment is around 3% and then its £25 from then on. Also I have the Virgin card, would I still have a chance of getting this one, and finally are cl reasonable on this card generally speaking. Thanks for help.

More-or-less, but I think you'll find the first payment will be the 2.9% BT fee + £5.tightoldgit wrote: »Would I be right in thinking that first payment is around 3% and then its £25 from then on.
If the Virgin card has a (reasonable) balance on it, and especially if it's still at 0%, then I suspect they'll decline you...or offer a very low credit limit. If, however, there's no balance on the Virgin card they may offer a small limit but then let you switch the limits around to give you a higher limit on the new card. Also I have the Virgin card, would I still have a chance of getting this one...
Yes, along with Egg, LTSB, and Capital One, they have been some of the best over the last couple of years or so in my experience/reading....and finally are cl reasonable on this card generally speaking.0 -
I've got the Virgin credit card 7K limit.
I've applied for a MBNA credit card and got a 5K limit no problem!
from month 2, the minimum payments will be 25 each, but in return I have a 'stooze' pot of more than 11k which is offsetting my mortgage!
Hope that this helps.

I applied for a virgin card in January and was approved.
I then applied for an A&L and Abbey card in March, both are MBNA issued and was approved for both but with a much reduced credit limit although the latter two with enough of a credit limit to fill my ISA allowances for next year £3600 * 2 (me and wife).
Abbey offered me a priority card which they tell me is a no fee 0% card for 13 months as I am an exisitng customer and the minimum BT is £1000. I am not a customer of Abbey other than the Virgin card I have from MBNA.0
