I am having difficulty being able to use my phone (Sony Eric K800i) with my cars' built in Hands Free Telephone System
The devices are paired and I can ask the car to call a number which it does, but as soon as the call is connected " transferred to phone" appears on the phone screen and all sound is in the phone. The same happens when a call is received - the radio will mute and the phone will ring - as soon as call is answered, it goes back to the phone.
This is driving me nuts
Anyone any ideas -
Oh I tried my wife's phone and it worked okay - so can't be the car
Also tried a blue tooth headset with my phone and it worked - so can't be the phone?? See my dilema

What car kit have you got?
I use the same phone with a Parrot CK3100 and it works fine.
One thing to check is on the phone under "Bluetooth" select "Handsfree" the "Incoming Call" check that it says "In handsfree"
Not sure if that will work, but is worth a try I guess0 -
You might also want to see if there is a software/firmware update for the k800i from: http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/home?cc=gb&lc=en0
