hi , please can anyone advise me , we are looking at conservatiories and the best deal seems to be with wickes. they have decent looking sale on at the moment..
i want to know if 4500 pounds is good value for a 4.2 m by 3.8 m conservatory , wickes recommend builders seem to be quoting approx 2.5 k
my questions are ,
1. is wickes repulable?, when compared to a firm like zenith windows would do the lot , where as wickes would use a third party.the total price seems to value at wickes ... ie 7k in total
2.what is the best way to regulate temperature..
the wickes rep suggested the e glass was not too effective . are the any ways to add heat in the winter and stop overheating in summer?
3. is there anything else to consider?
thanks marc

I would not buy from a DIY store. As for the rep who says E glass is not effective best thing you can do would be not to get advice from him again0

E glass is effective up to a point, when you have a room that is 90% glass it will always be cold in the winter compared to a normal brick room.
Anyway
Wickes are a reputable company, but that doesnt mean evrything they do is perfect.
Ask their rep to give you phone numbers of recent customers to see what they say0
