• Severe disability element – one for each child you are
responsible for if you receive Disability Living Allowance
(Highest Care Component) for the child.
Can someone please help me understand? should they have paid me this aswell as the disability element?
Many Thanks

If your child is on higher rate disability you should also receive the severe disability element of CTC.
Call up TCO to inform them that you have not been receiving it. Give them the date the higher rate started.
You will only be backdated for 3 months.0
