To bet as the traditional each way you have to bet once for a win and once for a place. If you bet place only and the horse wins then the odds you get will be about a quarter that of placing a win bet.

you should get that £25 automatically anyway and it will appear in your betfair account :beer:

Yes but you will take SP price so it will not get matched till the off

Either quick bet > each way

Or half in the win market and under that you will see "to be placed" put half on that market

Me again - and I really think I'm being a bit thick now but thought I was doing really well on the National Quick Bet section putting on each way bets but when I enter my account details and send it keeps coming up error on page -

I would prefer to back each-way and can't find anywhere else to put on "place" bets - can someone tell me if I'm doing something wrong.....

hi just clicked enter bets and it says " YOU HAVE ENTERED ODDS OF HIGHER THAN 99 " JUST CLICKED OK and then its just come up with you bet £2 on ??? if you win u get your £2 back plus £145 if u lose u get nothing ....do i just confirm bets ????
