    Should have clarified one point in the last post about the being safe to drive... When people go in for lengthy treatments they tend to take a friend or family member to keep them company and to drive afterwards - I didn't mean you get tons of dodgy drivers leaving hospitals all over the country :D

    From reading this thread I'm surprised how many hospitals don't seem to be "anywhere near" public transport. Where I live it's almost impossible to get on a bus that doesn't stop at one or more hospitals!!
