What's this about?
With the Easter holidays creeping up on us, you needn't spend the earth if you want to treat the family to a fun day out. There are many ways to cut the cost, with a variety of vouchers including 2 for 1 at Alton Towers, free dance, football or swimming lessons.
There are currently a few promotions that'll get you 2for1 on entry at any Tussauds Group attraction. If you buy an adult ticket, you can get a free adult or child ticket to accompany it. These can cost £34 so it's a substantial saving.
The attractions on offer are:
Alton Towers Resort, Chessington World of Adventures & Zoo, THORPE PARK, LEGOLAND® Windsor, Warwick Castle, Madame Tussauds, the Dungeons, and SEA LIFE/Sanctuaries.
How to get 'em.

I can't see where it says the voucher on Sky
http://perks.sky.com/perks/current/topattractions.aspx#termsContainer
is for Sky customers only.
It just says "This voucher entitles the bearer to only one FREE ENTRY per voucher and per full paying adult."
So why not just print the voucher from Sky?0 -
This gives you £16 adult entrance and £12 for children. Its a PDF. Seems to be better if you purchase a child and adult ticket as adult/adult ticket works out better with BOGOF ticket above.

Don't forget to maxamize Tesco deals, I've "spent" £35 of Tesco vouchers to take a total of 8 people to LegoLand & Drusillas, saving over £100 in "real" money (or saving even more if you count the vouchers as free money in the first place!) in the holidays!
Am now on the lookout for more cheap/free things to do with a nearly 3YO.....any suggestions apprecieated.;)Post Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p
In England we have Mothering Sunday & Father Christmas, Mothers day & Santa Clause are American merchandising tricks:mad: Demonstrate pride in your heirtage by getting it right please people!0 -
How will they know I'm a Sky customer? What's to stop me printing it off and using it, even though I am not a Sky customer?
I've even read through the Terms and Condition and can't see how they require you to be a Sky customer...
I'm not going to be arrested at the ticket booth, am I..?
P.S. I'm a long-time subscriber to the e-mail but a first-time poster. Please be gentle...0 -
IndieSinger - I wouldn't bother with the Sky voucher - it's a two for one voucher that expires in May. You don't need to prove you're a Sky customer - unless you're doing the hotel booking.
The voucher that deepakgeorge posted is better because it's half price - so if there's 3 people they each get half price vs 2 half price & 1 full price with the Sky one. Plus (for Thorpe Park at least) it doesn't expire til October.0 -
Ah thank you, kind person.
There will probably be an odd number of us going so rather than sharing out the savings, we'll just take some of those vouchers.
It says that photocopied vouchers will not be accepted but presumably you can print off as many as you like..?

But I'm correct in assuming that for 2 people, it would be the same to print off the Sky voucher (which I did just fine, despite not being a customer) & take it to the booths on the day, thus getting 1 person in free? Has anyone used this yet? Sorry to seem the skeptic, just the voucher looks a little funny (like any kid could of made it!) and not very official. Maybe it's just me...top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
would like to win a holiday, please!!
:xmassmile Mummy to Finn - 12/09; Micah - 08/12! :j0 -
I thought that too, aless02. Then I thought maybe the code under the bar code changes. Mine say V035. But then I just thought that the bar code is the important bit and it doesn't need to be official.0
